What are the common symptoms of LED Backlight failure?

Symptoms can include but are not limited to: Sound but no picture, Faint image on the screen (can be seen with a torch) , Flashing / pulsating screen, Flashing standby light, Tripping,  Dark / light patches on screen and/or Rings on screen. Other parts within the tv can cause similar faults but these are the common ones we see.

It is advised to get your TV diagnosed properly by a trained professional before ordering any parts. Power supplies can also cause a no backlight fault!

How do I test my LED Bars?

D.C. voltage can be used to test most LED strips on the test points. Alternatively, we stock a specially designed LED tester which requires no electronics experience to use

Yes, we offer a 90 day warranty on all new and used original parts

BARZ products all carry 180 days warranty

I’ve fitted new led strips , but broke my LCD screen during assembly. Can I return them?

Unfortunately we cannot accept returns on any parts that have been fitted

I’ve broke my LCD screen during assembly. Do you sell LCD screens?

We do not stock any LCD screens – if your display is damaged , the TV is beyond economical repair

What is the difference between new, used and replacement bars?

New bars are brand new original part

Used bars are normally salvaged from damaged TVs

Replacement bars are brand new,  non-original parts. These are usually stocked when original parts have a long lead time or are no longer produced.

I have ordered the wrong part, can I return them?

As long as the part has not been fitted, we can accept returns. Please contact beforehand. Return postage will be at the buyers cost.

Please note: There will be a 20% restocking fee for any parts returned  (this excludes DOA)

Where do I find part numbers and screen numbers?

Part numbers can be either printed on the part itself or on a printed sticker

Screen numbers are usually located on a sticker on the back of the panel
